Campus Mela - my first day at campus

It was 16 July morning I was getting ready for college, MY FIRST DAY AT COLLEGE. Wow what a feeling I still remember I would have seen myself at least 20 times before leaving the home, I wanted to have every thing in just a perfect way. Mummy was shouting at me, beti you are going to miss the bus hurry up, but me, lust lost in my own thoughts, whom am I going to meet there, will someone propose me after sometime, what would I say every thought was so romantic. Finally I reached the college, I think I reached bit early there were hardly any people at that time. I saw some girls wearing very nice dresses, I started thinking well they have so beautiful dresses must be very expensive too, I was feeling bit jealous and down, feeling among all those girls who will come forward and talk to me. Suddenly I heard a sweet voice behind me 'Hi' I am Sunita, people call me Soni, I have taken admission in Chemistry Hons. Then we went to canteen and talked a lot. Now she is my best, the best friend. I cannot forget my first day at college. Meena

My first day at college left some bad memories with me. I was happy to be in university, but all my good dreams tuned into bad when I was ragged by a group of students. I never felt so bad in my whole life. I cannot understand why can't we stop such a stupid thing. I hope one day all of us will welcome new comers in a nice way. If you are a senior and reading my message, please think twice before you indulge into ragging a junior. If you cannot stop others at least you can stop yourself and you can make a difference.
